The soft-spoken Amelda always looked very sharp whenever she came by the atelier. She was one of the rare brides who chose white gowns for both her wedding and evening change. We made a minimalist ball gown in Duchess Satin for her Morning Church ceremony, with a baroque feature lace bareback that I absolutely love! Added a short bird’s cage veil for the ceremony that well suited her short bob and personality.
For the evening piece, we wanted something on the sexier side and Amelda loved the sensuality of a lingerie style. So we made a little scalloped lace bustier as a top, finished with mermaid chiffon skirt. I had a good time beading this lovely piece up and I remember how Aaron (her husband) gasped as she put it on for the first time! See more of their wedding details on The Wedding Notebook.
