[The Wedding Scoop] Pre-Wedding Styled Shoot at Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur: A Romantic Pastel Affair
[the wedding scoop] pre-wedding styled shoot at four seasons hotel kuala lumpur: a romantic pastel affair
“Love starts as a feeling,
But to continue is a choice;
And I find myself choosing you
More and more every day.”
― Justin Wetch
Grand ballroom wedding receptions may be par for the course, but our pre-wedding styled shoot at the Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur sees it with fresh new eyes.
Centred on the theme “romantic blush and dusty blue contemporary wedding”, the ballroom is transformed into a floral wonderland filled with soft Rose Quartz and Serenity Blue accents. Instead of conventional round tables, tables are arranged in a cross-shaped pattern. At the dessert corner, pastel-coloured offerings are skilfully arranged and look too good to eat (in case you’re wondering, donuts are included too). To top it all off, our models and real-life Malaysian influencer couple Jazel Lim and Dennis Yin look like a match made in heaven, and their natural chemistry just sizzles on camera!
These beautiful images would not have been possible without photography by Louis Loo Photography, videography by In A Nutshell, planning and styling by Prep, décor and florals by Spring Cottage, dresses by Emcee Bridal and The Proposal Bridal, suit by The Proposal Bridal, hair and make-up by Aivy Yong Makeup, jewellery by DeGem Diamond, desserts by Delectable by Su, calligraphy by Owl and Quill, and chairs by Bumbung KL.
A word from Agnes of Prep:
“The Four Seasons brand is no stranger to the global luxury hotel ecosystem and has stamped their mark in the heart of Kuala Lumpur with the Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur. The venue’s intricate and dramatic design blends flawlessly with the majesty of its iconic neighbour, the Petronas Towers.
Our pre-wedding styled shoot was kismet in all aspects. From the hotel’s extravagant grand ballroom and ethereal crystal chandeliers to the humour and warmth exuded by our models and soon-to-be-wed influencers Jazel Lim and Dennis Yin, it was simply a match made in heaven. The trendy and modern yet subtle dusty blue and blush colour collaboration set the stage for our non-standard cross-shaped wedding table setting design. X marks the spot, and our team was spot on in breathing fresh air to the stale cliché of round wedding table settings.”
It’s always a privilege to share the work of wedding creatives with our community. Thank you to all the talented folks who took part in this styled shoot!
